Naggin Squeaky Noise

I have a 92 Blazer 4 door and wanted to know if anyone suffers from the same nagging squeaky noise from the rear hatch. I have a couple of friends with similar trucks that have the same issue. I've tried to put some weatherstripping around the window, but it doesn't help much. Anyone know how to get rid of this?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Naggin Squeaky Noise

I had the same problem with my 93 2 door. Check the hinges along the bottom of the tailgate. Grease the hell outa them and it should stop. I notice that my one side had a little bit of play in it and I figured it was because of the weight of the spare tire rack and stuff. Hope that helps you and your friends out.

Re: Naggin Squeaky Noise

I have the same problem in my 98, I put a rubber stop right by the the hatch latches so there is more pressure on it and it has stopped. I tried the weather stripping and it worked for about a day.
