No clearence???

OK my factory backspacing is 6", well the wheels I have purchsed are 4, havent got them on yet, but debating whether to take them back...i dont have much clearnece between tire, and the backsi of the front fender, I am running 30x9.50, and i can get only my hand between the tire and fender, at full lock i got about 1 1/2 of clearence, but with backspacing being 2" less, does this mean I am gona have to do some fender cuts? and use a sledge on the back side of my front fender? OR will I have clearnce?

Re: No clearence???

If I'm not mistaken, the smaller backspacing, the farther your tire will be towards the frame? By increasing the radius that the tire moves, your tire will travel farther making it chew some more fender.

Smaller backspacing will move the tires out not in. My guess is you will rub pretty bad.
