My plans... My questions...

I have had enough of my plain, stock blazer. I plan on a 2" body lift, maybe some T-bar tweaking, longer shackles, fender trimming, rims, and 31" tires. I think that I will have to do fender trimming to fit 31s, and that doesn't bug me one bit. In fact, I think a good trimming looks pretty damn good!
Well, my questions are:

1) If I trim behind the front tires, about two to three inches, will I hit
the footwells of my cab? It looks that way...

2) As for shackles, should I just fabricate some that are about two to three
inches longer, or can I buy them somewhere? Who sells them?

3) How much are the HD torsion bars, and add-a-leafs?

Now picture it on a blazer. What do you think? 31" MTs, trimmed fenders...

Re: My plans... My questions...

If you stick with the stock backspacing, you can get away with the just the 2" body lift. You will rub the swaybar a little at full lock though.
If you go with 15x8's with standard rwd backspacing you will need more lift and some trimming of the very bottom of the front fenders. With anything less than 3" of lift in the rear, you will rub the top of the fenders when it is twisted up.

Those look more like 32ís on that truck to me.
