S10 leafs

Are all S10 leaf springs the same? When I broke one of mine, I took it down to the local spring shop to have the main leaf replaced. The side that was replaced was higher for a couple weeks then it leveled out. After about 6 mts that side has started to sag a little. I know that the Blazers tended to sag in the rear after several years, but mine didn't. My rearend was actually about 1/2" higher then the front and it sat perfectly level before I broke one of the springs. Any thoughts?

Re: S10 leafs

From what I understand the metal used to make the springs was never really consistent.

Also, you have to remember that one side with a new spring and the other with the old setup will have a difference in height until it "settles".

If you need to buy new springs, I suggest you check out Deavers. You can get a full set for under $500 and they are one of the best out there.
