I WAS WONDERING

I SAW IN A MAGINZE WHERE THER WAS A LIFT FOR A CHERKOEE ABOUT 1AND 1/2 TO 2INCHS THAT CONSITS OF COIL SPCERS AND SHACKLES IN THE BACK . WITH A LITTLE MODIFCATION MAYBE I COULD SILP THAT UP UNDER MY 90 JIMMY. JUST A THOUGHT

Fabtech sells nice kits for 2wd that includes upper arms. But yes that might be an option for a small lift. You have to worry about the angles of the a-arms and thier ball joints. I have a budget boost in my garage for my XJ. Just haven't had time to install it yet.

Extended shackles can raise any vehicle with leaf springs (whether the springs are under or over the axle), so they would work for your truck. Expect about an 1" or so of lift. Also, I'd reccomend getting the heavier duty kind while you are at it just to help mitigate any potential problems. I don't know that much about the 2wd front end, so can't help you there.
