You mean you DON'T have an extra $4000 just lying around? You don't need the silly things, ya know, like power, heat, water... They're over rated...

NOW SOMEONE MAKE ONE FOR THE 4X4!!!

Nope, but I might at the end of this summer. But there are a few things I 'have' to do to my truck 'before' I put in a lift kit. Thing's like an exhaust system, intake manifold from edelbrock, decent tunes box & speakers, etc.

Re: For you 4x2 S-10 Folks...

I was sort of trying to figure out things like that myself. I don't off-road as much as I should, and this is a daily driver.

I was thinking I could go for the standard engine and drivetrain upgrades and then go full bore on the lift.

What do you guys think? Engine, gears, stereo and then lift? What's your order of upgrades?

Re: For you 4x2 S-10 Folks...

Well, now that you mention it. I have only one working stock speaker on the dash. The other wiped out some how. I have a Kenwood flip-face tape deck, and plan on getting a CD changer for the smooth part of the road.

I'll get a good, not too much amp and run most likely one 10" sub behind the seat (I'll get bucket seats here soon too). Then run two powered mids and tweeters. Might stay with the Kenwood theme, might not...

The thought of running down the San Felipe thoroughfare during the middle of Spring Break cranking out some tunes in my lifted truck with Sway-A-Ways and longer arms just gets me all warm and fuzzy...

Re: For you 4x2 S-10 Folks...

Right now I have an OEM head unit and one functioning speaker(driver's side). I'm planning on replacing the dash speaker with a set of 4"x6" Two/Three Way speakers and Installing speakers in the mounts on the back pillar of the cab. I'd like to eventually put in some subwoofers with a couple of amps and replace the head unit with a tape deck & remote CD unit. When & if I have the $$$...
