Dual Shocks

Anyone running dual shocks on a 95-97 S-10. I would like to have two shocks at each wheel.

Re: Dual Shocks

You'll probably have to custom fab a shock hoop for the front shocks, but it can be done. You might want to check out with Fabtech. Even though they only supposedly do stuff for 4x2's I'm sure they can come up with something.

The only other problem is the mount on the control arms. For Toyotas, they have an extra mount tab you can weld in, and then put a long bolt through the two sets of shocks to keep they lined up pretty well.

If you're looking for something a little more exotic, have you considered shocks with heim joints on them? Bilstein and a score others make them on their reservoir shocks. They range from about $130-$250 a piece, depending on how insane your driving may be .

Hope that helps.
