Headers

Has anyone put headers on thier S-10? I've been thinking about getting a set but don't know if they will fit.I have the 3'' body lift.
I've been scoping things out,it looks like they will clear on the pasenger side but on the driver side the headers look like they will
hit the steering linkage.Any help would be nice.

Re: Headers

I have the Edelbrock headers on my 94 4.3 V6. Awsome power and goes strait to redline now. Set it up with a free flow intake (K&N), High flow cat and a flowmaster and you will be buying new tires in a week. Pain in the (_*_) to ininstall. Had to remove the alternator, power steering, and bunch other crap. With a 3" body it should be a snap.

Re: Headers

I know I'll have to find out for myself eventually, but how much did you pay for a set of headers? Was it a straight shot installation, or a "one size fits many" type of application (like did you have to block off certain ports).

Thanks for the info.

Re: Headers

No, didn't have to block off ports but the ones I got where for the 94 . Went right in one I was able to get in there. Talk to Edelbrock for the low down...

Re: Headers

When you put your headers on did you have to re-route your exhaust?Or did it bolt right up?

Re: Headers

Around the front driveshaft it had to be redone but he rest was just bolt up. Power from them is awsome.( If I already have not said that...) Worth it!!!!
