coolant draincock for blazer...PLEASE HELP

This post is for my father in-law who cant use a computer and owns a 95' s-10 blazer. I know the engine is the v-6 vortec. Apparantly he can't find the drain cock for the coolant. I figured one of you guys would surely know.

Re: coolant draincock for blazer...PLEASE HELP

The petcock on my truck is on the drivers side bottom of the radiator. I have a different engine and much older truck, but it has to be on the bottom of the radiator somewhere. Mine is easier to reach from the top than from underneath because of the front crossmember. When draining my radiator, I took a 16 oz iced tea bottle and cut a rectangle lengtthwise out of the side, then I jammed the bottle between the frame and petcock with the cut out faceing the petcock. When I opened the petcock, the antifreeze flowed from the petcock into the bottle, and out the opening (normally the top of the botttle) and into an awaiting bucket. I spilled nary a drop.
