90\'s sreet ranger?

I realize this forum is for off-roading, but I figured there would be someone that might be able to give me some inspiration or help me out with my idea. I recently totalled my 1968 Mustang.. I can't afford another. I do however have a pretty nice 302 small block and a c4 transmission. I was wondering how practical it would be to apply these parts to say a 90's Ranger 2door. Tiny truck with a pretty damn nice engine? I figured I could get the truck cheap, versus another mustang -rolls eyes- I guy I knew use to have an S10 with a 350 in it.. and it hauled ass. I wanted to do the same with a light ranger. Any takers?

Re: 90\'s sreet ranger?

Yes you can do it, the best way is to find what you need is a swap guide. I have seen two or three of those guides out there so with a little work you should be able to find one. Usually they tell you what you need from a-z. I had a 90 2x4 ranger and thought of doing it myself untill a accident made it time for a new car. With a stick they were good handling trucks, but not as good as the mustangs.
good luck,
