Replacing u-joint at the hub??

I have a 77 Bronco, it's the old style small Bronco, not the full size. I broke the u-joint on the right front hub, Can anyone tell me how to change it? What do I have to take off to get to it? Also when it broke it sheered off, so is the yoke on the axle side on splines or do I have to change the whole axle? Thanks in advance.

Re: Replacing u-joint at the hub??

It is not hard to do only time you pull hub and under that you will find the spindel it has 5 or 6 bolts that hold it on and you pull it and then you can pull the axle out and get a new u joint and put it in then just put it all back together and you aer all done. good luck Bill
