Buying a 73 need some advise!!
 

hey,

I'm looking at a 1973 bronco explorer edition this weekend hopefully. I was wondering if you guys could give me a little list of common problems, and things to look out for with these rigs. I'm a Cherokee guy so i don't know much about broncos other than my brothers 84. the guy selling it said that the floor was rotting out, is this common? How hard is that to fix, just weld panels up right?

Rust on the door pillars is a PIA to repair.

Also, rust behind the front fender along the firewall.

Anything can be done, but depending on price it may be worth it.
