302 hp

are these normal numbers for 302 bored .030" over in a '72 bronco:
450 hp @ 2500 rpm (rev limiter @ 3000)
5200 ftlbs of torque @ 2500 rpm

we put it on a dyno 3 weeks ago and that is what we got.

Re: 302 hp

Well ....if you knocked a zero off of the torque figure......and put the word BOSS in front of the 302 ...... and raised the rpms a good bit.... ....and tweeked it a little here and there.......maybe............still that torque figure seems a little high....
.......and read my signature post script....

Re: 302 hp

Somthing still bothering me,why in the heck would you set a rev limiter at 3000? I have a 351 that wasn't even talking good till it hit 4000 and was singing like a bird at 7500 and thats with 5.29's and 42's.Okay come clean and tell the whole story about these dyno numbers, even a boss wont make those numbers if the guts are stock and just .30 over.
