Clunking

Why is it that after I lube my rear spline(2) - which works for awhile, still clunks. On a cold morning, it does not clunk at all. Starts off as if it was a new truck(95).

Re: Clunking

How bad is the clunk? I have heard that this is normal in broncos. I have the clunk as well, but do not worry about it. The noise is very minor, and I have checked the driveshaft and ujoints/cv in the rear...tight as a drum.
