reconditioned spare tire covers

My tire cover is blistering on top and i think its about time for a replacement. I ran across this site,(http://tire-covers.com/) $40.00 dont sound bad and could get up to $10.00 trade in on my worn cover. Ford gets over $100.00 for the original and those aftermarket ones i have seen are pretty thin.

Anyone heard of any problems with these?

Re: reconditioned spare tire covers

Did you happen to notice the "BRONCO" that they were displaying?

Havack!

The main difference in my truck and yours is your truck is a toy and my truck is a truck!

Re: reconditioned spare tire covers

Mine was fine until I took it up to the Arctic

That blistered it pretty good up there. The ozone is supposed to be at it's thinnest up there and I'd believe it as I don't remember sunshine that bright in my life.

I'll be living with the cover for now though, especially since they don't come in tan.

Re: reconditioned spare tire covers

hahah, i just went back over there and see what MANIA is talking about... i dont think they're implying that it's a bronco, they just needed something to display the cover

I saw an AWESOME cover on ebay one time. It was a color cover with an old bronco (77-) with huge tires running over something or another, kinda flexed out. It had BRONCO written in big fancy letters too... I wouldn't mind getting one of those... I'll go look and see if they are a business or if it was just a one-time deal.
