First time stuck this year........

Well, I tried to bust out my second driveway tonight and got stuck 3 times. There is a whole lot more snow in a couple of spots then I thought, at least 30 inches........ *G*. I high centered and the rig rode up on the snow and just spun. With a little digging and rocking I finaly got through to the road. Then I blasted through it a couple more times so it's clear now.

I think it's a good excuse to get a pair of lockers and maybe go to some larger tires then my 11.50 x 31's.

At least I was in my driveway and the coffee was on......hehe!

That's a pile of snow !

Guess I'll be in your shoes soon enough. Touch wood it's December 10th and Canada's capital (Ottawa, Ontario) has yet to get any snow. Believe it or not it's green grass outside and only 2 weeks from Christmas.

Not dreaming of a white Christmas

Vancouver, BC been getting skiffs of snow on and off for 2 weeks already, you must be getting our west coast weather. I think nearby Mt. Baker is saying they are heading for a record annual snowfall. Just a couple yrs ago it was set at 96ft i believe.

Larger??? That would leave MORE snow on your driveway, since you'd be passing OVER it instead of pushing it OUT! What you REALLY need is a pair of drop spindles and some ground effects with lights underneath to help melt the snow...

You're right Broncoman

Ottawa is famous for stealing from the West, guess we finally got what we were after, your warm chinook weather. 96 feet, sufferin' cheeses !!!!! When I lived out on the Island in 71 we got 6 feet (didn't lie for long) and I thought that was a lot for B.C. !!!!

Steve

Whisperer is doin' the lazyman snow shovel routine. Pack it down, compress it hard and drive on, no need to get out of the truck. Far better on the AOD than plowing, but it only works so long then eventually you've gotta get the blade out.

You lucky sods !!

We make like it's fun, sledding away with the Polaris's and skiing, snow shoeing and snow boarding, but the older I get the more I appreciate warmer weather.
