96 Bronco Eddie Bauer

was the 351 the only engine available in these models? and from looking at the engine how do you tell the difference between a 351 and a 302

Re: 96 Bronco Eddie Bauer *edit*

The 5.0L was the standard engine, and has "Ford 5.0L" cast into the plenum where the 5.8L has "Ford 5.8L". Also, the 8th digit of the VIN is the engine code, and I think a 5.0 is "H"<font color=red>**wrong - see below** </font color=red>, but I can't remember off the top of my head what the 5.8 code is.

Re: 96 Bronco Eddie Bauer

I once heard that all EB's came with 5.8's... so theres no truth to this? I just assumed it was the creature comforts that were added, but I could see that most people who will drop major coinage on the EB package will probably also want the big engine, or at least wont mind paying for it.

Your Toy is loaded huh? Does it have Power Engine?
