Ford Trans and Transfer cases Info

Hey I'm a Jeep head, and I just got a 1988 302. I'm looking for an automatic trans and transfer case options for bolting up to the 302 motor. What type and what vehicle would I need to look for?

Re: Ford Trans and Transfer cases Info

Any tranny & t-case from any F-Series or Bronco from '78-96 with 4.9L/300cid, 5.0L/302cid, 5.8L/351 Windsor will bolt up, but the E4OD transmission needs the right computer and a computer programmed to run an E4OD will set error codes if you go to another tranny.
