Transfer Case
I'm trying to figure out the fluid capacity for my transfer case. According to the Haynes Manual #36058 for my 94 XLT 5.0, Sec 1-2, the Borg Warner 13-56 with electric shift takes 2.0 qts. My question is what is the Borg Warner 13-56 with PTO? Do I have the later which takes 6.1 qts? Thanks in advance!

Re: Transfer Case
It shouldn't matter. Just add fluid until it just starts to trickle out of the fill hole.
The trouble with being on top...You always have to look over your shoulder. The best never rest. Fear the FORD thunder!!! |
Re: Transfer Case
PTO= power take-off , do you have one?

Re: Transfer Case
If you've got a PTO on your 1356 you should go buy a lottery ticket 'cause you're lucky. I'd guess the Broncos never got PTOs, maybe F350s. It'll take around 2 qts, as already stated just fill it 'til you can fill it no more.
