Removing Roof!!!

I have a 1995 Bronco (full size) that I just bought. I was wondering what kind of process removing the roof was. Have any of you ever done this? I used to do it all the time on my Jimmy (full size) and it was a sinch.

Re: Removing Roof!!!

Yeah, I have on my 93. You need the small torx bit for the bolts (there's around 10 of them) and you'll need a larger one to remove the shoulder belt bolts. Also, make sure you disconnect the wiring harness at the rear-driver side. There is lots of trim to be removed but mine was all gone when I got the truck so I can't tell you exactly how to take it off... just rip it all off and don't look back

Steve can tell you his one-man method but he is obviously more of a man than I am, so I just get 2 helpers and it goes very smoothly.

Your Toy is loaded huh? Does it have Power Engine?

Re: Removing Roof!!!

You need to get a safety torx set to pull the top! $10 at the 'Zone

Havack!

The main difference in my truck and yours is your truck is a toy and my truck is a truck!
