2500 HP mercedes

Dunno if you guys have seen this but the guys over at Banks have a "mercedes" that has 2500 hp and the body only weighs 28 pounds! Anyway, you can read about it but the thing that caught my attention was the all-titanium rear axle housing. Didn't somebody say in another thread that this could not be done because we cant make titanium that thick? I'm sure cost is a major factor but I just thought it was interesting that somebody indeed has done this.

Cool, that must be some super light material, I wonder how crunchable it is.

That Camaro makes me think back to the Can-Am cars of yore. I wonder what it would be like to drive that around in the snow this winter? [img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/cool.gif[/img]
