I\'m Back

I have been trying to get back on since I moved and got a new computer system. I forgot my password and couldn't get any help from bbs. Then I remebered from talking to steve that I had a cd for aol I used it and made a new account. Whoo-hooo. O.k. down to business. I just put these rancho 1"-2" coils on cause the originals broke. After I put them on the front was higher than the back (looks stupid) so I'm gonna put these 2"blocks on to level it out. My ? is After I put these springs on my front tires are shaped like a "V" I'm gonna try to post a picture. I just had a front end alignment with a new bushing put in and they did a good job. I took it for inspection and found out I had a broken spring. Should I go back now and get it re-aligned?

If I ain't in my truck - then I'm getting fuc$ed.

Re: alignment

I'd say yes - the camber, toe, & caster will change with any change in ride height (ahh, the joys of the TIB/TTB suspension). I'd also invite Rancho to pay for the second alignment, since their part's failure necessitated it.

Re: alignment

They will re-align it for free I got a year of alignment for $89. I go back there every two months to have it checked then I renew it every year. They do a good job. A friend I went to school with does all the alignments so I can trust him. The don't like to do Ford trucks especially ones that are old and have the original parts on. When I took it there 4 days ago (before the inspection) It took them 4.5 hours to align and put new bushings on. I paid $149 for everything not too bad.

I can't figure out how to attach a picture yet on this system. I tried but the size is too big. I hope to have this figured out by tonight.-BOB

Re: alignment

this is my original name no more sliperhead=--=--=-=-=-Update on alignment. Had to go with 2 3/4 degree bushings to get it real close. Drives great now with those new BF AT"s 33"s. I may take the swaybar off for some turning clearance.
