New Truck
I have a chance to buy a 83 chevy i believe LWB, it has a 454, 4spd with granny gears, approx. 6-8 in lift, hummer tires-37/12.5/16.5 I believe, 7 KC lights, roll bar- maybe just a light bar that looks like a roll bar, grille guard-I think, that is all I know at this moment, also it was in a wreck, just needs a new bed, frame may be bent very little.

What ya'll think.;) I know what I am thinking...

Re: New Truck
sounds friggin sweet! first thing i'd do is sell those hummer tires and get some 39.5" swampers... i believe those hummers are worth some money... b/c of their diameter. i'd buy it any way it goes, but what t-case/axles does it have? and is the tranny the sm465? all bulletproof stuff i'm sure.

unless it hit a BIG tree the frame prob isn't bent enough to matter, though it might be cracked near the steering box

good luck and have fun with the big block ;0
JEEP, it's what's for dinner.

Re: New Truck
Not quite sure about tranny/tcase/axles, but I know a brand new chevy hit it in the bed and screwed up the bed pretty good. I want to get rid of those 16.5 rims anyway, so it should hopefully work out. Even though I can get Slightly used hummer tires- $50 a piece. He wasn't at school today so hopefully he hasn't sold it yet.

Good one on the frame...
