Interiors

I just did a lot of mechanical work on the 86. She is sound. Now I need to clean up the interior. Anybody know where to find replacement sun visors? Has anybody used the dash cap shown in JCWhitney or any of the other interior stuff? Is it good quality? How about seat covers, padding, springs? If any of y'all have done this tell me about it.

Re: Interiors

You'll get the best deal, fit, & selection at junkyards. Most Ford products around '86 used the same mounting for the sunvisors, so you can probably get some deluxe ones from a Lincoln in your color if you preferr. Or, you could get some newer ones from later-model trucks - they have center supports that are easy to install by drilling a few holes (that's what I did).
