Flowmasters go on this Sat, any last thoughts???

Guys, my pops and I are headin to teh exhaust shop Sat, to take off my old muffler and CAT We are gettin two flowmaster 40 series. They should really sound deep and powerful. Any last thoughts or comments before we go on teh 40 series, is there a louder series, I am pretty sure the 40 is the loudest. No more exhaust leak either come Sat!!!! Thanks

make sure and have your muffler bearing checked while you're at it

Good one Muddybronco.
Another hint, make sure you follow the correct torque sequence for the chrome tips (if equipped).

Seriously though, how are you running the tailpipes?
I've got dual 2-1/2" tails coming out at 45 angles.
(behind tires, just ahead of bumper)
Getting some exhaust in the back now if the window's down.
The previous single 3" setup didn't do that at all.
That tailpipe was not quite 90, but fairly close to that.
I'm going to have the tailpipes chopped off just before the 45, and get new ones that exit closer to 90.
We'll see how that helps.
Gotta watch out for the CO. Bad joo joo.

Probably at 45' angles like yourself. I can live with a little exhaust. I really wanted straight out the back but everyoe says it's just too much fumes. Damn, they look soo good Hey muddy, what is my exhaust bearing, and Im pretty sure my leak is because of a bad donut gasket or something along those lines near the manifolds. Anyone think I will feel a real power diff by taking off my 16 yr old cat and muffler and replacing with true duals, and no cats!!! I hope so, allot of people have told me taking off that cat will do wonders. Thanks guys, Ill keep reporting.

Kinda reminds me of the Bugs Bunny catoon where the little dog hops around the big dog saying, "Hey Spike! Hey Spike! Whatter we gonna do today Spike?"

Now without the fish in a barrel commint we could of had him going to the dealer for new bearings.
