I would like to say thanks to everyone who posted on my "strange steering" post, I have fixed it, and it was the..............................Gear box. Thanks alot I will keep an eye out for any posts I can help with.

what exactly was wrong with the box? worn gears?

It's a Jeep thing? My Bronco thing will run over your little Jeep thing.

I actually have no idea what was wrong with the gear box, but we just traded it in at the local auto zone for a rebuilt one, sorry I can't tell you.

I have found! The out put shaft on the steering box was sticking or tight. When we raised the front end and disconnected the pittman, arm the wheels swiveled freely. The input shaft and steering shaft were free, just the out put shaft was binding. The rag joint was tight. Got the rebuilt steering box from the Zone and made the steering fine.($140) Sorry for the tardiness.
