85 Bronco

I was wondering if you think that 4600 is a good price for this 85 bronco. It is an 85 with a 351 with a automaic that has a BM shiftkit. The vehicle has 107000 miles on it. It was stored every winter,(Ny winters are bad)and undercoated each year. It runs good. It has headers and dual exhuast. The bronco has a 3" body lift with 35's. The tires are BFG MT with about 10000 miles. The body is excellent. It had a paint job 6 years and it still looks perfect. It has a visor, vent visors, bugshield, blackouts, and a square tube grille. The interior is also great. A new Grant steering wheel, pioneer cd headunit and 4 new speakers. There are no rips or stains. What do you think?

Re: 85 Bronco

you could maybe get one for cheaper that you have to fix up a little but it sound pretty close to a steal. If the visor is one of those moon visor things (on the top of the cab) you WILL get critisized for it if you try to send in any pics to a magazine, just a note.

Re: 85 Bronco

Sounds like it was well cared for and the mileage is low for a 16 year old vehicle.

Re: 85 Bronco

Just a question. Why do the mags alwasy critcize on teh moon visors. On a bronco I think it looks better. Is there a legitimate reason they dog anyone who has one??? And id offer the guy 4000 or 4200 adn call it a day. He'll sell.

Re: 85 Bronco

Probably because most people think they look cheezy. What's their purpose? They don't really block much more sun than the tint at the top of the windshield, but they do keep you from seeing traffic lights. And they're good as sources of leaks and rust, and they'd probably snag tree limbs if you ever went off-road. But if you want one, go for it - you could get running boards with purple neon lights underneath, green neon around the license plate, and blue lights on the antenna to go with the orange lights on the moon visor! Kewl...

Re: 85 Bronco

It is a moonvisor. I think they look nice. They do look bad if your vehicle has cab clearence lights and you then put a visor on.

Re: 85 Bronco

And you could put chinese letters all over the side of it too. I don't know if this is nationwide, but here around Little Rock, we have these 2 liter toyota camry's and honda civics with the mufflers cut off, a 5" exhaust tip, outrageous colors, chinese letters, and they all say Outkast on them. What the hell is that all about? Those little cars bother me as much as chrome shocks.

Re: 85 Bronco

Hells fire. I think you guys sort of bombarded me on that one. Personaly I don't haev one on my 85 xlt, but I do read all the time and see them critizice the moonvisors. I was just askin what was their reason. I also think the moonvisor is a long way from chinese lettering adn damn neon lights. So easy there big fella

Re: 85 Bronco

I agree, my friend has one on his 87 which is all black with a glossy black coat on the rear topper and that moonvisor looks good. I was mainly just venting my feelings about those gay little cars.
Remember, it's all about what YOU like, not what everybody else likes. I've never seen the ones with lights on them in person..would like to see that.

Re: Visors

From all the ads I've seen, a sunvisor is just a piece of fiberglass, and a moonvisor is the same thing plus clearance lights. I was just venting, too; it's your truck. Half the people who see mine think it's hideous, but that's what I wanted.
