Painting Top

What's the scoop on painting the top. Can the surface be smoothed out first?
Any idea's

Not unless you want to spend a few weeks sanding. They came with the flat splatter paint so the fiberglass didn't have to be as smooth or wave-free as a Corvette's. If you go back with gloss, or remove the splatter, it'll show.

when i had my bronco painted recently i had the top painted with the same paint as the body i think it came out good. you can see if your interested at mybigbronco.com/jbsplace/

Painted mine same as the body when I had it restored. Be sure to use a good seam sealer on all joints. Used the splatter paint on the inside, looks awesome. See attached pic of mine.

35's without suspension lift...awesome! how much did you have to cut out?

It's a Jeep thing? My Bronco thing will run over your little Jeep thing.

i have been asked that question over a thousand times i did not cut a thing to fit the 35s i know its hard to believe but i didnt they will rub off road but 4" suspension lift to be added in the spring if things go right.
