It definately happens when I slowly depress the throttle and at a certain point in throttle. You've convinced me......I'm going to check the TPS. Lastly, is it as easy to replace and adjust as Haynes makes it out to be, or is it a job for a pro. I want to make sure it's adjusted perfectly. Thanks for the confirmation.....woody
When I put the 88 5.0L in the 75 Bronco at http://www.webphotos.com/listPicture...w&album_id=215 (Nickname: "steve"), I had to remove the throttle body a few times (for cleaning and modifications) and I never "adjusted" the TPS; I just screwed it back on each time and it always ran fine. Even if it needs some adjustment, anyone with a volt/ohmmeter can do it.
