rear noise ?

i noticed today while driving the bronc there was a wierd rubbling like noise comming from the back could this be the rearend or i now my rear brakes are in need of changing could this cause the noise. any info would help its a 89 full size bronco with 35s x 12.5 on 10 inch rims .the gears are stock not sure what they are guessing 3.55s

is your emergency brake disconnected? Inside the drums are these emergency brakes cables with a spring on them, if they get jammed back into the drums when disconnecting your emerg. brake, there is your noise! A bud of mine disconnected his, due to the fact that evertime he set it, it would hang for a real long time and never figured it out, so eliminated the problem..... I'm long winded, oh well!
