1979 F250 Suggestions

Hey I'm new here and recently got a 1979 F250 custom 4x4 with an inline 6 300 with a 4 speed and 4.10 gears.I will be using this truck in mostly off-roading trails like for jeeps nothing to major and also some mud.
What is the best way and cheapest to lift this thing and about how much should i lift it?
What type and size of tires should i use? It will mostly be on dirt/mud and rocky trails in woods but i will also be hitting the mud pits.
Also this truck will not be on the road at all, it will be hauled because i have no title. The work will also be done by me and my friends in one of our shops, we have pretty much anything we need availible
