MAF headache!!!!

OK... starting from the beggining. I built a full roller 351 from a lightning for my bronco. I installed it with the stock speed density ecu. The truck ran pretty good, but since I've upgraded the valvetrain, heads, pistons, and cam, I wanted to switch to the MAF A9L. I bought a used computer, C&L MAF sensor, and wiring harness from E-bay. I got the pinout for my bronco and the A9L. Rewired my connector for the A9L, installed the computer, started the truck. It ran like hell. I pulled out the spout, replaced a broken spark plug, and a bad plug wire. It now will start, and run, but at idle it chugs and stalls. The throttle is MUCH more responsive now with the MAF, and it seems to run great over about 1500 rpm. Has anyone had any problems like this? Also, I made kind of a half ass Y-connector out of my stock dual intake tubes to match to the MAF. I'm wanting to get something a little better but I don't know where to go. What did any of you do? Could a vacumme leak between the sensor and throttle body cause my idle problems?

Thanks in advance,

Rob
