1st bronco

hey yall I'm lookin to buy my first bronco in the next few days. i found one that is a 95 eddie bouier with 140k on it. the guy is asking 5500 for it but it's a given that he'll budge. what would pay for a truck like this? its in good condition and looks like it hasn't seen the mud that much. second off it has crappy street tires on it and i want to know whats the biggest size tire i can put on it? i was thinking 33 and i dont mind a little rubbing. i appreaciate any help i can get

Re: 1st bronco

Offer him $4500, if he doesnt come off it offer him $5000.

33s on that truck will have more than minor rubbing. They will rub the radius arms at full lock and also rub the front bumper BAD, so you will either have to cut the bumper or space it out somehow.

I would say throw some 32x11.50s on it and ride.

Re: 1st bronco

What do you want to do with it? Don't pay more than 1200 for a wheeler unless it's already built and built right. If you're looking for a nice Daily Driver then I suppose OK. I wouldn't spend that much for it. Just my .02 I spent 1200 for my bronco when I first bought it and have put a ****load more money into it since. I've put more than 3000 into the drivetrain alone. It all depends on what you want to do.

Get yourself some 32x11.50 BFG All Terrains....look good and you can easily get 50000 out of em.

Re: 1st bronco

Hope no-one minds me borrowing this post. I to have my first Bronco and have a few questions, and yes I've searched. I don't plan on lifting the vehicle and only plan on minor offroading. Mainly to get to where I ride my bike or quad. I recenly got hit in the side and had to replace a rear wheel. After I got it home I noticed that it was an 8" wheel so I went back and got the other one. They were listed as being off of a 87' 150 and the backspacing is just a little more than stock (4.5" I think). The question is, does anyone know if they will clear in the front. I don't plan on running anything any bigger than a 32x11.5x15. I hate to get flamed on my first post so look over the newbie.
