Rear Defroster Problems

My rear Windows Defroster has stopped working, I found the problem last night while working on the truck and now Im wondering if theres anyway to Fix it.

Where the Defroster Wires hook up to the bottom of the window, Theres nothing there just 2 silver areas no studs or tabs to hook the wires up to is there anyway to Fix this? Later on today I will try and get a Pic of this to show you guys what Im talking about

Re: Rear Defroster Problems

scrape the coating material on the wires away to that you see shiny metal underneat, then take a soldering iron and solder some connections or solder the wires there.. solder should hold permanenlty if youre gentle with the connections or protect them after youre done.
