1995 Ford F150 2wd suspension

I have a 1995 Ford F150 2wd and am looking to update the suspension or maybe just the shocks. I would like to install 31x10.50 tires.
I would be using the truck for mainly around town and highway use, but during the summer I would be using on I what I would call developed dirt roads. Probably washboard type roads in Norther Ca and in Mexico.
If I were to lift the truck it would only be a couple inches as I would like to keep it close to the stock heigth.
I do want something that is rugged and reliable.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

For the cheapest and closest to stock lift I would suggest leveling coils and maybe blocks in the rear from a 4wd truck.

I'd start with just shocks & see if that's enough. No need to throw $1K into if you only need $100 worth of shocks.

Your front suspension is very similar to this:

Your rear suspension is exactly like this:
