Time to replace the 351M with a 460!
I'm replacing my 351M in my 80 Bronco with a 460 out of a 79 2 wheel drive F250 as soon as I can find a couple guys to help. My question is how hard or easy is this swap? what special/extra parts might I need?

Alot of guys have done this conversion. The cool thing for you is that it'll bolt right up to the tranny you've got because of the M motor. I think you may need new motormounts. L&L sells the most commonly used sets. I know that you can reuse the starter and the distributor off the M motor and I think maybe the flywheel (check on that one first before doing it) Post up your progress as you go.
