Game time, getting the beast ready for ACTION!

Okay guys, I've been on this board for probobly three years now almost, and since the day I bought my bronco, I haven't had 4wd, and slacked off on getting my bronco ready. But now I'm fed up..tired of 2wd..it's time for some action.

The 3 month Plan: 460, change of ball joints, 33x13.50 LTB Swampers, Front End Alignment.

After changing my axle pivot bushings like a year ago, my right hub still wouldn't lock up, seems to be my balljoints, take the weight off the balljoints and it locks just fine. So changing those this weekend. In 6-8 weeks my cousin in selling me a 460 out of a 79 F250, I believe putting it in shouldn't be a problem. Currently have a 351M. And last but not least in about 12 weeks I plan to order a set of swampers.

Looking for input here guys, especially those of you who know alot more about this stuff than me, questions and comments will be GREATLY appreciated.

A 460 is THE most awesome thing ford ever put under the hood of a truck.. If it has a holley throw it in the garbage and replace it with a 750 edelbrock and you will have nice mileage and awesome scary power! I'd imagine you will actually see better milleage with the 460 than the 351m. If i recall a 460 will bolt up to the M bellhousings..

yeah 460's are awesome! it does still have the holley, later on (aka as soon as possible) I plan on putting an edelbrock as well as a better intake, I'm also planning headers and true dual 2 1/2 inch free flowing exhaust, and yeah I do believe the motor will bolt up to my current bellhousing

Re: Game time, getting the beast ready for ACTION!

stub shaft isn't lining up in the hub so it's not locking in, if I put a jack under the axle on that side and jack it up to take the weight off the tire, it lines up perfect and locks in just fine, already changed the axle pivot bushing, and that tire leans bad, so only other thing I can think of is the ball joints
