stalling and hard down shifting

I have a 1990 Bronco that I have been having trouble with for a while and have tried replacing almost everthing. It is getting worse now it seems but it's not setting any codes in the computer. most of the time when I come to a stop it will down shift hard and stall out. I am going to try the TPS its about the only thing left that I can think of . Has any one else had a problem like this. I have cleaned the throtle body , replace the IAC valve ,ignition moduel, coil , distributor pick up, MAP sensor, cap and rotor , spark plugs, checked for vacume leaks/intake leaks.
I am getting to my end of my rop trying different things and nothing working. Any help would be appriciated.
