81 bronco

hey, kinda new to all of this right now and just getting into 4 wheelin. I have an '81 bronco with a 5.0 liter, straight six, with a borgwarner t-18 trans and NP 208F transfer case. I plan on putting 35 inch tires on, but dont have the money for a lift kit and i am just thinking about cutting the fenders a lil. If anyone has any suggestions or tips i would greatly appreciate it. Also, i am looking for anyone that would have an old t-18 trans laying around cause i need a new input shaft bearing retainer that the release bearing rides on.

Um' 5.0 is a V-8. But Trimming will fit but rub like a biotch when flexed without a lift.

my fault, 4.9 liter, dont know what i was thinkin when i typed that. What if i would only put 33's on then, i dont think it will rub at all then, but wont look as cool.

Yea, 35s are a little big for no lift. You would wamt 33s with no lift, maybe have to trim the front bumper a little bit on the corners.

God forbid...I promise that the 33s will look alot "cooler" than the 35s which will just look plain stupid.

Not to mention a smog ridden feedback carb'd 300 6 is not going to turn 35's worth a crap with stock gears.. Its going to be crummy enough with 33's i'd go with some 31x10.50 MT's they won't rub, won't be hard to turn be more economical and ALOT cheaper!
