2V to 4V swap on 85 XLT

I have an 85 XLT that came stock with the 351W 2V carb and I want to swap to the 4V to get a little more umph. I live in California so passing smog is an issue. Aside from getting the exact manifold/carb combo from the same year Bronco, are there any others that are interchangeable? Also, any other modification need to do this conversion? I just put in a fresh motor as I will be using this truck to pull my new toyhauler. Help!!

I belive that edelbrock makes a carb/intake combo with EGR that is smog legal. I'd go with that other than the shi**y holley and cast iron intake setup thats factory.

Re: 2V to 4V swap on 85 XLT

Check and see if there's an adapter swapping it from 4 to 2Vs. If that's the case getting an adapter to run the 4V should be easy. I have one on my Ford. If you have an actual 2V intake then you may just want to swap to a 4V one. The adapter has the EGR bolted right to it so it should be no problem keeping the truck running legal.
