picking up my first bronco

It's a Eddie Bower 92. I know it has a 351 and a auto tranny. I need the specs on this beast. I'm picking it up for 500 bucks!!! Tranny has a leak and the motor has over a 100K miles on the OD.

Tranny?

Axles?

WB?

Susp?

Tranny- either AOD or E4OD, not sure, Im sure someone will verify that.

Axles- Rear is a Ford 8.8, Front is a Dana 44 TTB

Re: picking up my first bronco

ace 138, Nice score, I bought my '93 xlt for 1500 bucks which I thought was a deal at the time. Anyway your trans should be an E40D which is the electronic version of the AOD. Hopefully it will not need rebuilt as these cost a pretty penny! The engine runs 210 HP with somewhere along 385 ft. lbs. very nice motor. I wouldnt worry about the engine...mileage wise, as long as it was taken care of you should have few problems. GtRider has it right, axles are dana 44 TTB and 8.8 respectivly. These are good axles as long as you stay under 35's. anything more will be way too stressful on the axles in my opinion.

Grab a sawzall. Cut the fenders. Throw some 35s on it and wheel it till the wheels fall off. For that price it's worth it!
