hey guys i was just wondering what I should do to winterize my truck, its sitting up on jack stands right now with the front hubs all ripped apart, tie rods off, and brakes pulled apart. Is there anything I should do so that my only option is to scrap it in the spring. Its a 93 F-150 with a 4.9L (300ci) and a 5 spd. 4x4 of course. I'm not really sure if its got a Dana 44 front axle in it or not. I tried to get a tool to take out the front bearings and the only one that looks like its going to fit is for a Dana 44 and its 80 bucks. Is there any way I can go about doing this without spending 80 bucks on a tool I may only use once? I'm trying to get the whole hub assembly off so that I can take the spindle off and replace the balljoints, bearings, and perhaps put some aftermarket hubs on it (the stock ones give me nothing but problems you may remember all my posts about them.) Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
