Tires and lift

I was just wondering whats a good lift kit for about 4" to 6" i was thinking a 6" lift from skyjacker and what kind of tires i need to get if i go that high and kind of drivetrain and gear ration i need to change over to. And where can i get some good high performance upgrades for the 302? And where can i get some bigger wheels as in like rim size.

Re: Tires and lift

I put a 4-6" inch Superlift on my 91 with 4" skyjacker springs and it rides great, on & off road. I also put 33x12.50x15 BFG All Terrain KO's on 10x15 589 baja's, they ride great and have incredible traction on ice and wet pavement.

Re: Tires and lift

Oops! I forgot...I recently changed ring and pinion both front and rear, but not because of any problems, I was installing lockers so I figured "why not upgrade" whilw I had it apart. The stock gears should be adequate for 33x12.50's depending on how much wheelin' or towing you're planning on doing.
