Sound bite of Sixlitre\'s exhaust system

Everyone's been asking me "how does it sound?".

Finally here's the link to the soundbite and below it is the link to my Superford section (where the wav file is) in case the upper link doesn't work right.

Just to recap it's the (dirt cheap) universal 2 1/2" welded body Walker Truck muffler at about 5-600 rpms at idle just after warm up. It's running through my Summit shorties, then custom made Y-pipe out to 3" then through the 3" Catco cat, back down to 2 1/2" through the Walker truck muffler and out the DynoMax mandrel bent tailpipe starting out at 2 1/2" and finishing at a true 3".

(technical disclaimer) Any mild clicking you hear is my thumb on the mike button of my digital camera (still learning). I'll try recording anudder bite tomorrow with a couple of throttle blips and some higher rpms.

Hope you like it (remember I'm old and wasn't going for loud, it just turned out deep and truck-like (I think).

I have my subwoofer turned up and it sounds mighty fine

Any revving sound bites? My straight sounds good at idle but ferocious when I'm on the gas... I'll try to play along and get a decent recording

Thanks Muddy

I'm gonna get some more bites today. I'm still learning the camera.

I've got the top off now, maybe I can talk a buddy into getting into the back and hanging over the rear quarter holding the camera near the tailpipe to get an acceleration sound bite.

Now that might garner the attention of the local constabulary !
