SAS Questions Need Quick response

Hey everyone. I researched a little bit about the SAS for 80-86 Broncos and have the oppurtunity to get a free 79 F150 with a 351 to replace my wussy 302. Anyways, I have to act fast to get this thing before someone else grabs it. First, is a 79 F150 a good donor truck for the SAS? If so, will I be able to use all the parts from it to do the swap or will I still need to track some other parts down? Sorry I don't have time to research, I know there is a ton of info on this site. Just need some quick answers.

This is a link to the truck, I can actually get it free.

Re: SAS Questions Need Quick response

it will work, but it is not the best d44 to use, even though thats what everyone uses.
i would not pay over $250 for th ehwile truck if thats what you inteded to use it for.
it will have most of the front end brackets you will need.

What Burned said. And dude, don't expect that 351M to be faster than your current 302
