Front Coil Springs

My '69 Ford F-100 SWB 4X4 has about 5" of sag in the front. I need to replace to replace the front coils but I can't find any specs on them. I need to know the free length and rate.

The truck has a HP44, 360, NP435, Dana 21 and has a 5,600 pound GVW.

I appreciate all the info I can get.

Thanx

Re: Front Coil Springs

I don't know if this will help you or not, but I have my stock front coils from my '95 left over. If they'd work on yours, I'd let 'em go pretty cheap. Problem is, that I don't know what the front end on a 69 looks like.

Re: Front Coil Springs

I just had the coils replaced on my bronco, they asked me if I wanted the old ones but I said that I had no use for them. Sorry, if I knew I would have given them to you.

Re: Front Coil Springs

Thanks guys, but that doesn't solve my problem.

I want to know the free length and rate of the original springs so I return it to stock and level the thing out. There are at least 6 different flavors of front coils for '67 to '72 Ford F-100's.

Here's the way the truck sits now ... I want it to be the same height on both ends.

Re: Front Coil Springs

A couple years ago I replaced the front coils on my 76 F-150 with a set of Moog coils. They make a set that are an inch and half taller to level out the front end.

I search different sites to find the part number then, I will try again and let you know.

Hope this helps.....
