\'79 Bronco U-joint ?

Running a '79 Bronco as an off-road racer and have some questions on u-joints and straps. Broke a strap in the race and looking for a way to go with heavier duty u-joints and straps. Th strap that broke was the type that the bolt comes through the yoke and threads into the strap. Any help would be appreciated.

There are upgrade kits that use u bolts and nuts. Call up your local driveline shop and see what they can do for you.
