Cap cutting

I am in the early planning stages of cutting my cap so it terminates just behind the rear seat and makes a mini bed in the back. I know this isn't an original idea, but a search didn't turn up anything. Current plan is to cut a section out of the middle and patch the front and back together again. Knowing what the internal construction of the cap is would be key in making more of a plan.

Re: Cap cutting

Great to see you around Paul. I'm not sure if this is what you are talking about but I looked in my files and found it. Half cab conversion.

Re: Cap cutting

Thanks for looking Norm. I'm thinking of a longer version of that so the rear seat would be covered also.

Re: Cap cutting

A soft top would probably be easier.
