Need help with trouble codes

1990 Ford F-150 with a 5.0 Auto trans.
I have:
1) A KOEO Code 84 (EGR vacuum soleniod circuit failure). What do I need to check and how do I do so?
2) A KOER Code 13 (Can't control idle during self test low RPM check) What do I need to check and how do I do so?
3) A have a Constant Memory code 14 (PIP circuit failure). What does this mean, what do I need to check and how do I do so?

Re: Need help with trouble codes

Vacuum selenoid is is where the The Vacline come from it's black with two hoses comming from it the feed hose from the vacuum source and the line that goes to the EGR valve. To check it put a vac gauge on the bottom port and apply vacuum if it hold it's probbaly good, if not replace cost about $18. Check to make sure the hard plastic lines are melted or split somewhere first. Code 14 is probably causing code 13. To fix replace PIP circuit in distributor, or follow haynes on checking voltages. After you solved the other two problems, unplug battery for 5 minutes, then recheck for any other codes. If code 13 is still present then- , check timing should be at 10* BTDC. Code 13 sound like a timing problem. -Bob
