door panels restored !

Still killing time waiting for my new door shells and fender to get back from the paint shop.

Scored some faded, grungy but solid inner door trim panels Monday at the wreckers for $25 CDN each.

Here's the almost finished product;

The whole resto is available at the Superford link below and was D-I-R-T cheap. Do you have any idea how much aftermarket door panels are ?

What's worse is you never get the chrome trim or veloured panels or removeable speaker covers or door handle grommets, none of which would match my stock colours.

Also I'd have to cut the plastic for the electric window and lock switches.

I'm happy with the results !

It looks nice. I'll trade you for my dirt encrusted ones.

Looks sweet!
Did you put any flex additive in the paint?

Re: door panels restored !

Thanks WD-40

Yep !

The paint shop that mixed it custom did all that(flex agent too) and put it in a easy to spray shaker can for me !

Still would have rather bought 3 cans of pre-mixed from VHT or someone like that.

Spoiled I guess.
